Worldways is a founding funder of the International Social Marketing Association, and belongs to the Social Marketing Association of North America. We were one of the first agencies to use social marketing in the field of public health, with national model projects related to childhood obesity, pregnancy intention, and infant mortality. We’ve also led model projects related to water conservation and recycling, savings behavior and conscious consumer purchasing. Social marketing uses a broad range of social science and marketing principles to accelerate the adoption of behaviors that are good for individuals and communities.
